• Reserve energy supply for mobile systems and radio-relay connection
• Solar energy and wind energy supply systems
Generic description
The gel battery holds some distinct advantages over flooded batteries or AGM batteries. These advantages include super thermal stability, high deep discharge capability, and good recovery from deep discharge. Even if the battery is left discharged for thirty days, it will still recover to 100% capacity. Based on these benefits, the gel battery offers a long service life and is specially suited to motive power applications (eg golf buggy, scrubber, forklift, etc). The deep discharge cycles in the gel battery increase by 50% when compared with the AGM battery.
Special features:
• Resistance to deep discharge
• Thermal stability of characteristics
• Micro millimeter SiC>2 and H2SO4 gelled electrolyte technology for efficient gas recombination of up to 99% and freedom from electrolytic maintenance or water addition
• Not classed as restricted for air transport due to compliance with IATA/ICAO Special Provision A67
• Approved by Underwriters Laboratories as a UL-recognized component
• Easily mountable in any position
• Incorporating a computer designed lead, calcium tin alloy grid for high power-density
• Long service life, ideal for float or cyclic applications
• Maintenance-free operation
• Low self-discharge
• The body frame is made of flame-resistant ABS plastic
